We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Kitchen Porter in the excellent Maldron Hotel Smithfield.

The Maldron Smithfield is a 3-star newly refurnished 92 bedroom hotel located in the very heart of Dublin's iconic Smithfield Village. This hotel offers a unique product blend to both corporate and leisure guests with two fully furnished meeting rooms, grain & grill restaurant and red bean roastery coffee dock. Located on the Luas red line offers easy access to and from this busy property.

Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Head /Sous Chef, the Kitchen Porter will support the chef and kitchen team in maintaining hygiene & cleanliness levels in the kitchens.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a supply of clean ware / cooking ware & kitchen utensils at all times
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens at all times
  • Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen.
  • Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
